If you or your dentist notice any areas of concern, an examination by Dr. Karras may be recommended, and a biopsy may be necessary to determine the cause of the problem and the most appropriate treatment. It is important to note that areas of pathology, including cancer may not cause any pain or other obvious symptoms. Abnormal lumps, swellings, or sores should not be ignored. |
