Brow Lift While the eyes are the “windows to the soul” the eyebrows provide the framing. Some patients may have eyebrows that are naturally at a lower than ideal position. The surgical technique chosen depends on many factors, including the patient’s gender, previous surgeries, brow position, hairline, and forehead shape and size. A brow lift procedure may be combined with other surgical procedures, including blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), facelift and neck lift, laser skin resurfacing to tighten saggy or crepey skin, and fat grafting to address facial hollowing. This can feel like a headache for a few days, which will be treated with either over-the-counter or prescription medications. After 48 hours, the hair can be gently washed. Depending on the technique used, stitches or other materials used to close the incisions are removed 1-2 weeks after surgery.
